Mexico coach Miguel Herrera: the World Cup has another internet hero
Last week the world fell for Mexico goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa and it is now rather taken by the team's ebullient manager
Herrera's philosophy: 'We attack with 11 and defend with 11'
Goals from Rafael Márquez, Andrés Guardado amd Javier Hernández gave Mexico the victory they needed to knock Croatia out and progress to the last 16 of the World Cup. Their 3-1 victory had it all: 22 shots, four goals, one red card and a performance from Mexico manager Miguel Herrera that was more entertaining than anything Neymar and Brazil produced at the Estádio Nacional in Brasilia.
Herrera played for Mexico in the mid-1990s, even making it to the Copa América final in 1993, when Mexico lost to Argentina. Back in those days he sported a mullet. Now he is more famous for his celebrations, which are almost the same as his remonstrations with referees. Can you spot the difference?
